After : Poem
All of my life
I was living in hate.
It seems that my hatred
has swallowed me whole.
They are bad people,
but maybe they aren’t.
Haunted are the nights
that I sleep alone.
My family here,
but I so alone.
I try and move forward,
and past all the kills,
but there is something inside of me
that won’t let me give.
The horrid faces,
some I still see
are everywhere I turn.
They follow me.
I cannot sleep.
I cannot eat.
What I did was not wrong.
Loyalty is my honor,
and will be until I’m gone.
I was living in hate.
It seems that my hatred
has swallowed me whole.
They are bad people,
but maybe they aren’t.
Haunted are the nights
that I sleep alone.
My family here,
but I so alone.
I try and move forward,
and past all the kills,
but there is something inside of me
that won’t let me give.
The horrid faces,
some I still see
are everywhere I turn.
They follow me.
I cannot sleep.
I cannot eat.
What I did was not wrong.
Loyalty is my honor,
and will be until I’m gone.
